- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant field from an Indian University or equivalent foreign degree.
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualification preferred.
- Relevant industrial or teaching experience is desirable.
- For Diploma in Epigraphy and Heritage Management: M.A in Tamil/History with SLET/NET/Ph.D. and PG Diploma in Archaeology and Epigraphy.
- For Diploma in Silambattam: Any PG degree with a Diploma in Silambattam and preferably teaching skills.
- Superannuated teachers may apply subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
