Research Positions (SRF, Lab Assistant, Junior Research Fellow)

- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced 3 contractual research positions: Senior Research Fellow, Lab Assistant, and Junior Research Fellow.

- Senior Research Fellow: First-class postgraduate degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular & Human Genetics/Zoology/Animal Science/Life Sciences with NET/GATE qualification and minimum 2 years of experience in Parkinson's Disease research, neuro-biology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology, and cell biology.
- Lab Assistant: Graduate degree with at least 55% marks and experience in mice handling and laboratory reagent preparation.
- Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related fields with at least 55% marks and NET/GATE qualification. Desirable: Knowledge of cell culture, animal experiments, molecular biology techniques (e.g., RT-qPCR, ChIP-qPCR, non-coding RNA, epigenetics).

- Selection involves a Written Test, followed by an Interview, Document Verification, and preparation of a Merit List.
