Group A & Group B Technical Posts Recruitment 2026

- Recruitment drive for 155 Group-A and Group-B Gazetted (Technical) posts under the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Posts include Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director (Sericulture), and Dairy Development Officer.
- Only permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid APST Certificate and proficiency in an Indigenous Tribal Language are eligible.
- Applications open from 10th September 2026 (5:00 PM) to 30th September 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Written Examination and Recruitment Test (if applicable) to be conducted in the Itanagar Capital Region.

- Must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh with a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Must hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate as per the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950.
- Must possess proficiency in an Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Post-wise educational qualifications:
- Agriculture Development Officer: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from a recognized university.
- Horticulture Development Officer: Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from a recognized university.
- Veterinary Officer: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with registration in the Arunachal Pradesh State Veterinary Council.
- Assistant Director (Sericulture): Bachelor's degree in Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture from a recognized university/institute.
- Dairy Development Officer: Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology or equivalent (B.Sc. in Dairying/Dairy Technology; B.Sc./B.Tech in Food Technology; B.Sc. Microbial & Food Technology; B.Tech Bio-Technology).
- Candidates appearing in the final semester may apply but must submit proof of passing the qualifying exam before the interview date.

- Selection is based on a Written Examination (500 marks) followed by an Interview/Viva-voce.
- Written Examination includes:
- General English and General Studies (Objective, 150 marks).
- Concerned Subject Paper-I (Descriptive, 150 marks).
- Concerned Subject Paper-II (Descriptive, 150 marks).
- Viva-voce (50 marks).
- If the number of applicants exceeds the required ratio, a screening Recruitment Test (Objective Type, 200 marks) may be conducted.
- Candidates equal to 12 times the advertised posts will be admitted to the Written Examination based on Recruitment Test performance.
- General candidates must score an aggregate of 33% in the written exam with at least 20% in each paper.
- PwBD candidates must score an aggregate of 20% in the written exam with at least 10% in each paper.

- Self-attested Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Self-attested Bachelor's Degree certificate and mark-sheets/mark statements.
- Self-attested Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture certificate and mark-sheet (for Assistant Director-Sericulture applicants only).
- Self-attested registration certificate/record in the Arunachal Pradesh State Veterinary Council (for Veterinary Officer applicants only).
- Self-attested Matriculation Certificate/Mark-sheet as proof of age.
- Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates claiming reservation/concession), issued before 30th September 2026.
- Appointment Order and NOC from the Head of Department (for government employees seeking age relaxation).

- ₹200 for all candidates (payable online only).
- PwD candidates are exempted from the application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.
