Deputy Director and Assistant Directors in Strategy Division

- Work with the Director Strategy to develop and execute the organization's strategy for engaging with bilateral/multilateral agencies, foreign governments, and international development partners.
- Act as the primary bridge between APCRDA leadership and external partners such as UN-Habitat, foreign missions/consulates, and international development organizations.
- Facilitate the study and development of systems for city governance and utility management, ensuring alignment with Amaravati city development goals.
- Identify new collaboration opportunities including MoUs, technical cooperation, knowledge exchange, and co-financing with international partners.
- Draft, structure, and negotiate MoUs and partnership agreements with international stakeholders.
- Represent APCRDA in high-level dialogues, missions, international delegations, and site visits.
- Handle institutional development matters and cross-departmental coordination for international engagements.
- Oversee protocol, communications, and visibility for international engagements.
- Support research on potential new partners and comparative international practices.
- Present progress and strategic updates to senior leadership and government officials.

- For Deputy Director: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with relevant specialization; or Master’s Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, Development Studies, Law, or any other relevant discipline.
- For Assistant Director: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with relevant specialization; or Master’s Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, Development Studies, Law, or any other relevant discipline.
- Deputy Director: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification professional experience, including experience in international engagement/relations, multilateral agency engagement, and institutional frameworks.
- Assistant Director: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification professional experience, including exposure to government liaison work, international program coordination, or institutional/policy matters.
- Deputy Director: Prior experience working with multilateral agencies or in a government international-cooperation cell, and dealing with institutional strategic affairs.
- Assistant Director: Familiarity with documentation cycles (concept notes, progress reports) and experience with documentation, correspondence drafting, and stakeholder coordination in a formal/government or multilateral setting.
- Core competencies assessed independently of sector background: analytical rigour, structured problem-solving, written and oral communication, initiative, and ownership in a fast-moving environment.
