Senior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2026

- AIIMS Bibinagar has released an official notification for the recruitment of 32 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) posts across 20 departments including Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Cardiology, Dermatology, General Medicine, and more.
- The tenure for these posts is 89 days or until the next regular interview, whichever is earlier.
- The recruitment is conducted under the Government of India’s Residency Scheme.
- The selected candidates will be posted at AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad Metropolitan Region (HMR), Telangana-508126.
- The appointment is non-permanent and does not guarantee permanent absorption or continued contractual appointments.

- Qualification: Postgraduate or super-speciality medical degree (e.g., MS/MD, DNB, DM, M.Ch, M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D) relevant to the department applied for. Specific qualifications vary by department (e.g., MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology for Anaesthesiology, M.Sc./Ph.D in Biochemistry for non-medical candidates in Biochemistry).
- Age Limit: Maximum age is 45 years as of 3 November 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD): 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
- Medical Candidates: Must have a postgraduate or super-speciality medical degree from an NMC-recognized university.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Must have an M.Sc./M.Biotech degree in the relevant subject and a Ph.D in the subject or an allied subject.

- Selection will be based on an interview conducted on 16 and 17 November 2026.
- Document verification will be conducted on the same day as the interview, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM.

- EWS certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026 and valid for financial year 2026-27.
- Income certificate for EWS candidates (in prescribed format).
- Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates) issued by a duly constituted Medical Board.
- Publications (if any).

- UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1770 (including 18% GST) plus transaction charges.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women: No application fee.
