Senior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2026

- AIIMS Kalyani is a newly established apex healthcare institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, aimed at correcting regional imbalances in tertiary healthcare and achieving self-sufficiency in medical education.
- The institute is conducting interviews in hybrid mode (online and offline) for the post of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) on a tenure basis for a maximum period of 3 years as per the Central Residency Scheme.
- The interview will be held on 29.09.2026 and 30.09.2026 at Academic Block-1, Ground Floor, Academic Section, AIIMS Kalyani, Pin-741245.
- No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.
- The selected candidates may be posted at rural or urban centers attached to the institute as per the institute's requirements.

- Medical candidates must possess a Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent in the respective discipline from a recognized university/institute as per the Residency Scheme.
- For Hospital Administration, candidates must have MD in Hospital Administration or Master’s in Hospital Administration (full-time after MBBS) or DNB in Hospital Administration.
- For Transfusion Medicine, candidates must have MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine or Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion.
- For Trauma & Emergency Medicine, candidates must have MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, General Medicine, or Pediatrics.
- Non-medical candidates for Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Biostatistics must possess M.Sc./M.Biotech/M.Stat. in the concerned subject and PhD in the subject or allied subjects from a recognized university/institute.
- Maximum age limit: 45 years as on the date of publishing the notification (08.2026).
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwD (OPH) candidates.
- Candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of the interview if already in service.

- Selection will be based solely on the performance in the interview conducted in hybrid mode.
- The merit list (selected and waiting list) will be prepared for all categories (UR/OBC/SC/ST) based on the interview performance.
- In case of non-joining or resignation by selected candidates, posts will be offered to candidates from the waiting list according to merit.

- Self-attested copies of certificates/documents supporting age, educational qualifications, teaching/research experiences, etc.
- Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format.
- Disability certificate (for PwD candidates) issued by a duly constituted Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer (if applicable).
- Scanned copies of certificates, photograph, signature, and payment receipt in PDF/image format during the online application.

- PwD candidates: Exempted (No application fee required)
