Project Staff Positions for AI-ACIHR CATCH Trial (ICMR-AYUSH Funded Project)

- Temporary project-based positions under the ICMR-AYUSH funded 'CATCH Trial' for an assessor-blind randomized controlled trial evaluating Ayurvedic treatment as an add-on to conventional biomedicine in unresectable stage III-IVB Head-Neck Squamous cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) patients.
- Positions are co-terminus with the project duration and do not confer any rights to permanent employment or absorption in AIIMS Nagpur/ICMR.

- **Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)**:
- Minimum Essential Qualification: MBBS/BAMS/BDS or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 published research articles in PUBMED/UGC/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Experience in CTRI-registered clinical trials related to Ayurveda.
- Knowledge of recent trends in cancer management and integrative oncology.
- Any IPR obtained, experience in data handling, clinical Ayurveda instrument handling, and research methodology (e.g., in-silico methods, molecular biology, bioinformatics).
- Peer reviewer for UGC/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Conference presentations in NCISM-approved national/international conferences.
- Administrative experience and ability to perform Ayurvedic therapies as per research protocol on cancer patients.
- For BAMS candidates: Degree recognized under Schedule II of CCIM Act, 1970/NCISM 2020 and MD (Ayurveda) recognized by CCIM/NCISM.
- **Project Technical Support-I (Panchakarma Technician, Female)**:
- Minimum Essential Qualification: 10th pass + Diploma in Panchakarma + 2 years of experience in reputed Ayurveda Panchakarma hospital OR 3-year graduate degree in relevant field + 1 year of experience.
- Desirable Qualifications: Ability to perform Panchakarma procedures for cancer patients under Ayurvedic clinician guidance, knowledge of computer applications for data management, and proficiency in Hindi and Marathi.

- Selection involves a **qualifying assessment** (written test + skill assessment) followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
- **Written Test**: Multiple-choice questions on General Science, General Analytical Ability, and knowledge of concerned areas (duration: 30 minutes, 08:15 AM to 08:45 AM on 07-09-2026; reporting by 08:00 AM).
- **Skill Assessment**: Focuses on Human Resource & Financial Management, Social Science Research (cancer and integrated medicine), patient care, and research methodologies.
- **Interview**: Conducted offline for candidates qualifying in written and skill assessments.
- For **Project Technical Support-I (Panchakarma Technician)**, if fewer than 10 applicants apply, direct interviews will be held on 07-09-2026 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM without a written test.
