Assistant Engineer (Civil) on Contractual Basis

- AIIMS Nagpur is an apex healthcare institute established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) to correct regional imbalances in tertiary healthcare and medical education.
- The post is purely contractual with no guarantee of regularization or extension beyond the specified period.
- The contract period is 11 months, and the appointment may be terminated by the competent authority at any time without assigning reasons.
- The job location is AIIMS Nagpur, MIHAN, Nagpur - 441124.
- Selected candidates must take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India or make a solemn affirmation.

- Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design and engineering of civil projects, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application submission (28.08.2026).
- Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
- Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer at the time of interview.

- Shortlisting of candidates for interview will be based on educational qualification, relevant experience, and criteria decided by the Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur.
- In case of a large number of applications, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for interviews.
- Scrutiny of applications and verification of documents will be done to determine eligibility before the interview.
- Candidates called for interview must produce all relevant original documents for verification.
- Selection will be based on merit in the interview, with a minimum qualifying standard set by the Selection Committee.
- The selection procedure is indicative and subject to change at the discretion of the Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur.
