AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 for Graduate, Diploma & ITI Trade Apprentices

- Recruitment for 205 apprentice seats (80 Graduate, 65 Diploma, and 60 ITI Trade) under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for a 1-year training program at Northern Region airports and AAI offices in 2026-27.
- Training locations include airports and offices across 12 North Indian states/UTs such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, and others.
- Stipend varies by category: ₹15,000/month for Graduate Apprentices, ₹12,000/month for Diploma Apprentices, and ₹9,600/month for ITI Trade Apprentices.
- No assurance of regular employment post-training; AAI has no obligation to offer jobs upon completion.
- Applications must be submitted online via NATS (for Graduate/Diploma) or NAPS (for ITI Trade) portals only.

- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time 4-year Engineering Degree in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/IT, Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance, Architecture, or Mechanical/Automobile, recognized by AICTE.
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time 3-year Engineering Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/IT, Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance, Architecture, or Mechanical/Automobile, recognized by AICTE.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: ITI/NCVT certificate in relevant trades such as COPA, Stenography, Computer Hardware & Networking, or other notified trades, recognized by AICTE.
- Candidates must be Indian Nationals domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand.
- Passing year: Must have passed degree/diploma/ITI in 2024 or later.
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship experience (1 year or more) or those currently pursuing apprenticeship elsewhere are ineligible.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will be rejected.

- Selection is merit-based, with no written examination.
- Provisional selection based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (CGPA converted to percentage per Board/University norms).
- In case of a tie, date of birth and thereafter date of passing determine seniority.
- Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification, interview/certificate verification, and medical fitness certificate submission.
- Final selection and issuance of apprentice engagement letter follow successful document verification and medical fitness clearance.

All (with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government guidelines)

- Qualifying/provisional certificate (PDF, under 1 MB) for educational qualification.
- Aadhaar number and APAAR ID for registration on NATS/NAPS portals.
- Government-issued medical fitness certificate (from a Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking) at the time of joining.
- Domicile certificate (if applicable) for eligible states/UTs.
