- Principal: Postgraduate degree (M.A./M.Sc.) with 4 years of teaching experience in Classes 9–12.
- PGT (Hindi, English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science): Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. or equivalent training.
- Lab Assistant: High School pass with Science subjects and a Diploma in Laboratory Technique.
- Office Superintendent/Clerk: Intermediate pass with Computer Science or CCC certificate, Hindi typing (25 wpm), and English typing (30 wpm).
- Care Taker: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed.
- Full-Time Teacher (Class 6–8): Trained graduate with B.Ed. in the relevant subject.
- Accountant: Graduate with relevant qualification.
- Peon, Chowkidar, Cook: Class 8 pass.
- Age limit: 30–45 years for Principal, 25–45 years for all other posts (as on 1 April 2026).
- Age relaxation applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.

- Teaching and most non-teaching posts (Principal, PGT, Computer Science Teacher, Lab Assistant, Office Superintendent/Clerk, Care Taker, Full-Time/Part-Time Teachers, Accountant): Selection based on merit (weighted academic marks: High School 10%, Intermediate 10%, Graduation 20%, Post-graduation 20%, Training/B.Ed. 30%).
- Cook, Assistant Cook, Peon, and Chowkidar posts: Selection through Interview.
- District-Level Selection Committee headed by Chief Development Officer (CDO) conducts the selection process.
- Psychologist included as a subject expert for candidate counselling.
- Document verification mandatory for all selected candidates before honorarium payment.
