- Project Assistant position under Chief Minister’s Research Grant (CMRG) 2024-25 for developing a neuro-driven lower limb exoskeleton to restore mobility.
- Project ID: CMRG2400863, funded by DOTE/CMRG, Government of Tamil Nadu.
- Principal Investigator: Dr. P. Ganesh, Associate Professor, Department of Production Technology, MIT Campus, Anna University.
- Project duration: 19 months with a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 25,000.
- Selected candidate may register for Ph.D. program at Anna University, Chennai.
- Position is temporary with initial appointment for 6 months, extendable based on performance.

- OR Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Medical Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation, Industrial Automation and Robotics, Robotics, Automobile, Automotive, Manufacturing, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Product Design and Development, Power Electronics and Drives, Control System Engineering, Electrical Drives and Embedded Controls, Computer Science, Embedded System Technologies, Information Technology, Applied Electronics, or closely related fields.
- PG degree in the above specializations is highly desirable.
- Candidates with skills in CAD Modeling/Simulation/CAM, control systems, embedded hardware, sensors (EEG/EMG/IMU), and programming (MATLAB/Python/ROS) will be preferred.
- Experience in assistive/rehabilitation technology, neuro-signal processing, AI/ML/Deep Learning integration, problem-solving, interdisciplinary teamwork, and patient-centric applications is desirable.
- Strong commitment to research and good communication skills are essential.
