- Drafting, reviewing, and legal scrutiny of bills, rules, regulations, and by-laws for the State Information Commission.
- Coordinating with administrative departments such as General Administration, Law & Justice, and other ministries for legal and administrative matters.
- Managing court case records, preparing notes, and submitting them to senior officers for approval.
- Reviewing legal cases and preparing responses for RTI-related legal hearings.
- Performing legal and administrative duties as per the directives of the Commissioner and Additional Commissioner.
- Updating and maintaining the official website and online RTI portal, coordinating with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Ensuring compliance with RTI Act, 2005, and preparing annual reports by coordinating with all administrative departments.
- Conducting field visits to monitor compliance with RTI provisions and preparing progress reports.

- For Post 1 (Higher Grade Legal Officer): Must be a graduate in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- For Post 2 & 3 (Lower Grade Legal Officer): Must be a graduate in any discipline with knowledge of computer operations.
- Must have relevant work experience in legal drafting, administrative coordination, or RTI-related matters.
- Must possess proficiency in Marathi and English languages.
- Must not have any pending disciplinary actions or adverse service records.
