📋 Job Description

Sainik School Kalikiri invites eligible candidates for temporary teaching positions on a contractual basis for a maximum duration of 179 days.
Positions include Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Computer Science and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in English.
Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching in a residential school environment.
Consolidated remuneration will be provided as per school rules and regulations.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

For PGT (Computer Science):
- M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or MCA with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution.
- M.E. or M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution.
- B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- OR Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- OR Four-year integrated degree with B.Ed. component from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Desirable: Experience as TGT in recognized institutions, experience in residential schools, and knowledge of computer applications.

For TGT (English):
- Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in English and aggregate, including B.Ed. component.
- OR Bachelor’s/Honours degree with at least 50% marks in English and aggregate, plus B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- OR One-year B.Ed. (Special Education) from an RCI-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- OR Post-graduation in English with a minimum of 55% marks, having studied English as a main/elective subject at graduation level, plus three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II.
- Competence to teach in English and Hindi languages.
- Desirable: Experience in residential schools and knowledge of computer applications.

🏆 Selection Process

Walk-in interviews will be conducted on 27 July 2026 for shortlisted candidates.
Candidates must report at 08:00 hrs for PGT (Computer Science) and at the scheduled time for TGT (English).
Latecomers (arriving 30 minutes after the scheduled time) will not be permitted to participate.
Selection will include a classroom demonstration followed by a personal interview.
Topics for classroom demonstration:
- For PGT (Computer Science): Lists, dictionaries, and suggested programming tasks.
- For TGT (English): Class IX topics such as 'The Pot Maker' and 'Vitamin – M'.
Final selection will be based on performance in the classroom demonstration and interview.
