What are the eligibility criteria for the Senior Resident (SR) position?

Candidates must have an MBBS degree with a PG Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by the National Medical Commission. They must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council and have not completed three years of Senior Residency. The age limit is not more than 45 years, with relaxations for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) as of the interview date.

What is the duration of the appointment for the Senior Resident position?

The appointment is initially for a period of 89 days or until a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier. If reserved candidates are unavailable, the post may be filled on an adhoc basis for 44 days.
