- Investigating the role of platelet factor 4 and CXCR3 in dengue infection in mice with/without diabetes.
- Funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
- Position is initially for 1 year, extendable based on project duration.
โœ… Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related natural science disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Must qualify through National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- Alternatively, selection through national-level examinations conducted by central government departments/agencies like DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
- Desirable: Experience in working with dengue or any BSL2 level virus.
- Experience in handling mice, performing experiments (e.g., drug injection, blood/ organ sample collection), and techniques like flow cytometry, microscopy, western blot, and PCR analysis.
